What is Aware Lens Languages?
Aware Lens Languages translates public meeting pages into eight languages — captions, synced transcript, plain-language summary, audio-description script and the full interface — while protecting names, streets, ordinance numbers and dollar figures. English remains the official record.
An informed resident becomes an ambassador. One who can’t follow becomes a complaint.
Legacy accessibility stops at English captions. Machine translation bolted onto a video player garbles exactly what residents came for — the street, the ordinance number, the dollar amount, the member who voted. Aware Lens Languages protects those things and puts the whole page, not just the captions, in the resident’s language.
