Does ADA Title II apply to my town or city?
Yes. ADA Title II covers every state and local government, including cities, towns, townships, villages and boroughs. Meeting video your municipality posts or livestreams must meet WCAG 2.1 AA — by April 26, 2027 if you serve 50,000 or more people, and April 26, 2028 if you serve fewer.

Does ADA Title II apply to small towns?
Yes. Title II has no size exemption. Towns serving fewer than 50,000 people have until April 26, 2028; larger municipalities have until April 26, 2027.
